Srinagar, Oct 4 (TKM): DIG North Kashmir Rang (NKR) Maqsood ul Zaman on Saturday said that a cricket tournament held in Patan aimed to engage youth in constructive activities and encourage them to contribute positively to their community.

He said that they organized this tournament to involve youth in activities that benefit their society and community. “There was enthusiastic participation from teams and locals. Such events not only promote sports but also instill discipline and a sense of responsibility.”

Highlighting the social purpose of the tournament, he added, “Our goal is to keep youngsters away from negative influences like drugs and crime. Positive engagement is the best way to build character and strengthen their resolve.”
