Govt orders transfer of 22 IAS, JKAS officers in J&K

Jammu, Feb 20 Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday ordered the transfer and posting of 22 IAS and JKAS officers with immediate effect in a major administrative reshuffle, officials said.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, several senior officers have been assigned new responsibilities.

Ashwani Kumar (IAS, 1992 batch) has been posted as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Power Development Department, and will also hold additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Mining Department.
Ashish Chandra Verma (IAS, 1994 batch), Financial Commissioner (ACS), Tourism Department, will also hold charge of Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Production Department.

Shailendra Kumar (IAS, 1995 batch) has been posted as Financial Commissioner (ACS), Finance Department.
M Raju (IAS, 2005 batch), Commissioner/Secretary, GAD, will also hold additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.

R Alice Vaz (IAS, 2005 batch) has been appointed as Commissioner/Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, and will also hold charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Department.
Yasha Mudgal (IAS, 2007 batch) has been posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Cooperatives Department, while Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (IAS, 2009 batch) has been appointed Commissioner/Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department.

Piyush Singla (IAS, 2012 batch), Secretary, IT Department, will also hold additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Public Grievances Department.

Among other postings, Anjali Sehrawat (IAS, 2013 batch) has been appointed Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Nidhi Malik (IAS, 2013 batch) as Inspector General of Registration.

Owais Ahmed (IAS, 2014 batch) has been posted as Director, Skill Development, while Sagar D Dattatray (IAS, 2014 batch) has been appointed Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir.

Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan (IAS, 2016 batch) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, Kumar Abhishek (IAS, 2016 batch) as Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, and Akriti Sagar (IAS, 2016 batch) as Managing Director, National Health Mission, J&K. She will also hold additional charge as Special Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.

Bilal Mohiud Din Bhat (IAS, 2017 batch) has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, Minga Sherpa (IAS, 2017 batch) as Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, and Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid (IAS, 2017 batch) as Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla.

Harvinder Singh (IAS, 2019 batch) has been posted as Director, Employment, and will also hold additional charge as CEO, Mission Youth and Mission Director, Mission YUVA. Shahzad Alam (IAS, 2019 batch) has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam.

Krishan Lal (JKAS) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Doda, the order said.(KNS).
