CM Omar Abdullah expresses grief over fatal road accident near Nagrota, Jammu

SRINAGAR, JUNE 14: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed deep grief over the tragic road accident near Nagrota in Jammu district, in which three persons from Haryana lost their lives and two others sustained injuries.

In a message of condolence, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident.

The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment and care for the injured persons.

The accident occurred during the intervening night of June 13 and 14 near the Jagti-Karli area of Nagrota on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, when a car collided with a passenger bus. Three residents of Haryana were killed in the mishap, while two others sustained injuries.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah prayed for strength and courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
