Srinagar, June 11 : Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari said that his party has been making sustained efforts to bring political and social consistency to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that the party’s mission goes beyond electoral politics and aims to build long-term stability, unity, and trust among the people.
“You may have noticed that for the past several days, we have been continuously trying to give our community a sense of stability and direction,” Bukhari said while addressing party members and supporters.
Bukhari reiterated that the Apni Party is committed to working at the grassroots level to bring about meaningful change. “We are striving again and again to provide continuity, unity, and a clear path forward for our people. Our focus is on peace, progress, and ensuring that every citizen feels connected to the democratic process,” he said.
Bukhari further stressed that the people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve a political environment that is not reactive or chaotic, but steady and predictable. “We want to give our community a sense of structure, strength, and purpose. This includes social development, economic empowerment, and political clarity,” he added.
He also called on political stakeholders to act responsibly and put public welfare above all. “The time has come to replace confusion with clarity, conflict with cooperation, and uncertainty with a consistent vision for the future of Jammu and Kashmir,” Bukhari said.
The Apni Party, under Bukhari’s leadership, has been holding regular outreach programmes, listening to public grievances, and advocating for the restoration of democratic rights and statehood in the region.(KNS)
