Srinagar, June 16: Akshay Labroo has officially assumed charge as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Srinagar distri

Labroo, an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2018 batch (Tripura cadre), previously served in several key roles across Jammu and Kashmir, including as DC of Budgam. His transfer to Srinagar is part of a broader administrative reshuffle by the Lieutenant Governor’s office aimed at enhancing governance in the region.

Officials have extended a warm welcome, pledging full support to his administration. Labroo begins his tenure focused on maintaining transparency, strengthening administrative coordination, and serving the community effectively.(KNS)
