Srinagar, July 1 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has directed that there will be no oral test, interview, or viva-voce for the recruitment of Assistant Scientific Officers (Crime Scene) in the Jammu and Kashmir Forensic Science Laboratory (JKFSL).

As per an official order accessed by KNS, the selection for these posts will be conducted solely through a written examination. The order, issued by the General Administration Department, states:

“In exercise of the powers under the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to direct that there shall be no oral test/interview, viva-voce for the post(s) of Assistant Scientific Officer (Crime Scene) in the Jammu and Kashmir Forensic Science Laboratory (Subordinate) Service, carrying Pay Level 6E (?35,900–?1,13,500).”

The notification further confirms that recruitment will be based exclusively on performance in the written test (KNS).
