Srinagar, November 8 : Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Shantmanu on Saturday emphasized that along with skilled staff and quality production, adaptability is crucial for every entrepreneur to ensure long-term sustainability.

Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) after inaugurating a milk processing unit in Handwara, Shantmanu said that individuals and business units must continuously evolve to remain relevant in changing times. “If you keep adapting and remain flexible, you will stay sustainable,” he said.

He stressed that entrepreneurs should focus on maintaining high-quality standards, employing skilled staff, and ensuring the safety and security of their units to achieve continuity and growth.

“Setting up any unit is important, but sustaining it is even more important. Sustainability depends on several factors, including the timely availability of raw materials and the ability to face market competition. Sometimes one generation manages to sustain a business, but the next fails to do so. That remains a common challenge,” he said.

While encouraging youth, Shantmanu said that the youth must identify and develop their potential and use it productively for their own benefit and for the betterment of society, he added.(KNS)
