Bus Falls Into River Amid Heavy Rain in Ganderbal

Srinagar, July 30 : An empty bus designated for ferrying ITBP personnel skidded off the road and fell into the Sindh River at Resin Kullan in Ganderbal district during the early hours of Wednesday amid heavy rainfall.

According to SSP Ganderbal, the bus slipped into the river while negotiating a curve.”The vehicle was empty at the time of the incident. The driver sustained minor injuries and is stable,” he said as per KNS.

Rescue teams have been deployed to the site, and efforts are underway to retrieve the vehicle. Further details are awaited.(KNS)
