Jammu, Nov 3 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah arrived in Jammu today for the biannual Darbar Move and was greeted by a large crowd of residents. Traders and members of civil society welcomed him warmly at Shahidi Chowk and Raghunath Bazar.

The Darbar Move, a long-standing administrative tradition in Jammu and Kashmir, shifts the government offices between Srinagar and Jammu twice a year to ensure equal governance access for both regions.

Taking to Social media CM Omar Abdullah posted, that I was humbled to receive a warm and rousing welcome from the people of Jammu as I arrived for the biannual Darbar Move today and interacted with traders and members of civil society at Shahidi Chowk and Raghunath Bazar, before being received with a Guard of Honour at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu: CM Omar Abdullah (KNS)
