JAMMU, May 21 : The Northern Railway’s Jammu Division on Thursday unveiled a state-of-the-art main conference hall at its administrative complex, equipped with ultra-HD audio-visual system, high-speed secure network and real-time linkage with the Railway Board and all major divisions across the country.
Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Vivek Kumar inaugurated the facility in the presence of senior officials, technical engineers and administrative staff, an official said.
Speaking on the occasion, Kumar said the new hall is designed to align railway operations with the digital era.
“This will bring unprecedented improvement in the communication capabilities of the Jammu complex. We now have advanced resources for strategic meetings, safety reviews and disaster management coordination,” the DRM said.
The fully soundproofed hall also features ergonomic seating and pan-India real-time connectivity, enabling faster and more transparent administrative decision-making, he added. (KNS)
