J&K Administration Transfers Senior IAS and JKAS Officers

Srinagar, Aug 5 : In a major administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders for 14 IAS and JKAS officers with immediate effect.

As per Government Order No. 1037-JK(GAD) of 2025, Naveen S L (IAS, AGMUT:2012), Secretary, Transport Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Civil Aviation Department. He will also take additional charge as Commissioner, Civil Aviation, relieving Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary of the responsibility.

Avny Lavasa (IAS, AGMUT:2013), currently awaiting posting, has been appointed Secretary, Transport Department.

Anshul Garg (IAS, AGMUT:2013), CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, has been posted as Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.

Vikas Kundal (IAS, AGMUT:2013), Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, has been appointed Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board. Gurpal Singh (IAS, AGMUT:2014), Director, Social Welfare, Jammu, will now serve as Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited.

Sachin Kumar Vaishya (IAS, AGMUT:2015), Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, has been posted as CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, replacing Anshul Garg.
Anil Banka (IAS, AGMUT:2015), who was awaiting posting, has been assigned as Special Secretary in the Finance Department.


Shrikant Balasaheb Suse (IAS, AGMUT:2016), MD, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara.

Rakesh Minhas (IAS, AGMUT:2016), Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, will now serve as Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.


Ayushi Sudan (IAS, AGMUT:2017), Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Samba.
Among JKAS officers, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, has been transferred and will await further adjustment orders.

Indu Kanwal, JKAS, presently Chairperson, J&K Services Selection Board, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora.
Ashok Kumar Sharma, JKAS, Special Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, will take charge as Deputy Commissioner, Poonch.

Rajesh Sharma, JKAS, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua.
The transfers have been approved by the Lieutenant Governor and are effective immediately. (KNS)
