Jammu, Apr 23 : The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has extended the manual acceptance of challans from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of J&K till May 31, 2026, while making it clear that no further extension shall be granted thereafter.

The extension was granted through an order issued by the Registrar General accessed news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) which cited previous court orders dated April 25, 2025, August 13, 2025, December 6, 2025, January 16, 2026, and January 30, 2026.

The arrangement will continue under the same terms and conditions as stipulated in the earlier orders, the court said.

In a separate directive, the court also ordered the ACB and the Crime Branch to hold a joint meeting at the earliest to resolve all technical issues related to data uploading. The two agencies have been asked to take all necessary steps to ensure the system for uploading of data is made fully functional within the extended period. (KNS)
