Srinagar, May 20 : The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, on Wednesday, lauding the efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir Police in the fight against narcotics, stated that the force has prepared a robust action plan to eliminate drug trafficking across the union territory.

Speaking on the sidelines of a function in Jammu, LG Sinha, as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), congratulated the J&K Police for their actions under the ‘Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyaan’ (Drug-Free India Campaign) launched on April 11.

“The J&K Police have prepared a better plan. In the coming times, the actions will increase and success will be achieved,” the Lt Governor said, expressing confidence that the force will put a stop to drug trafficking wherever it occurs.

LG Sinha also extended his best wishes to the newly recruited constables of the J&K Police and their families. (KNS)
