Srinagar, September 26 : Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, on Friday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi and discussed key issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Sharma raised matters related to security and law and order, development, and the ongoing Assembly session.
According to LoP Sharma, Shah reiterated the Union Government’s commitment to peace, development and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. He also assured continued support and cooperation from the Centre in addressing key concerns of the people of the Union Territory.
The meeting comes as the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly is in session, with issues concerning development and governance.
