Srinagar, Mar 25 ; The Srinagar district administration on Wednesday advised residents to refrain from panic buying and hoarding of essential commodities, asserting that adequate stocks are available across the city.
In an official advisory accessed news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) authorities said sufficient quantities of fuel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and other essential items are in supply, dismissing any concerns over potential shortages.
Officials further warned of strict action against black marketers and those spreading rumours that could lead to artificial scarcity and unnecessary hoarding. The administration has urged the public to remain calm and report any instances of profiteering to the control room. (KNS)
