SRINAGAR, Aug 20 : The Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore has ordered an immediate cessation of all voluntary work and training activities in the facility, warning that any violation would invite serious disciplinary action.
The hospital administration informed news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) that no student or voluntary worker who has already completed their training period shall be permitted to continue working in any section or ward of the hospital until further orders are issued by the undersigned authority.
The directive comes amid growing concerns over unauthorised personnel gaining access to critical medical sections, official sources said.
“Students and voluntary workers who have completed their training period should not be allowed to continue further. No student shall be allowed to work in this hospital unless and until directions will be issued by the undersigned. Any deviation in this behalf will be dealt seriously,” the official said.
He said the direction is applicable to all key departments, including Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, Pediatric Ward, Labour Room, Casualty Section, MOT Section, General OT, Radiology Section, and Central Lab, among others.
Meanwhile, sources in the health department indicated that the move is aimed at streamlining hospital operations and ensuring that only authorised personnel are engaged in patient care activities. (KNS)
