Omar Abdullah visits bereaved family of Journalist Tariq Ahmad Bhat in Chotta Bazaar

Srinagar, 05 Nov (TKM) : The J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday visited the family of late journalist Tariq Ahmad Bhat in Chotta Bazaar Srinagar and offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Expressing deep sorrow over Bhat’s sad demise, the Chief Minister lauded his contributions to journalism and public discourse in Jammu and Kashmir. He described Bhat as a committed professional whose work earned him wide respect and accolades in and outside Kashmir.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by State President of the J&K National Conference Women’s Wing and MLA Habba Kadal Shameema Firdous and State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar.

On the occasion Hon’ble CM joined the party’s functionaries in offering Fatiha for the departed soul and prayed for peace to the deceased and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.(TKM)
