New Delhi, June 15 : Amid growing tensions and overnight explosions in Iran, the parents from Kashmir who’s students currently studying in the Iran have made an urgent appeal to the Government of India for immediate evacuation. In a letter to S. Jaishankar, Minister for External Affairs, the parents expressed deep concern over the safety of their children. They noted that the students had already registered with the Indian Embassy in Iran and followed all official guidelines issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.

Citing the panic and trauma caused by recent blasts, the parents requested that the Government act swiftly on humanitarian grounds to ensure the safe return of their children. They also recalled similar evacuation efforts carried out by the Indian Government during the Ukraine conflict, which were widely praised by the public.

“We sincerely hope the Government will take urgent and concrete action before the situation worsens,” the parents said.

The families await a timely response and hope the authorities will prioritize the safety of Indian citizens abroad.(KNS)
