Srinagar, Oct 20 : Classwork will remain suspended at six educational institutions here on Wednesday to facilitate the smooth conduct of an OMR-based written examination, officials said.

The J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB) is slated to conduct the written test for the posts of Attendant General Cadre (AGC) G-II and Barber G-III under the Health and Medical Education Department on October 21 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

To ensure a hassle-free examination process, the District Magistrate’s office has ordered the suspension of academic activities at the designated centres. The centres include S.P. College M.A Road, AAA Memorial Degree College Bemina, Government College for Women M.A Road, Government College of Education (IASE) M.A Road, Government Polytechnic for Women Bemina, and Kashmir Government Polytechnic Gogji Bagh.

In an official communication, the Additional District Magistrate, Srinagar, directed the Heads of Institutions to ensure that only staff nominated for examination duties are allowed entry into the premises during the examination hours. (KNS)
