Srinagar, Oct 9 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday arrived at Atal Urja Bhawan in New Delhi to chair a high-level meeting on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources said Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Intelligence Bureau, Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), and Jammu and Kashmir Police, has also reached the venue.

The meeting is scheduled to review the prevailing security scenario in the Union Territory, including developments along the Line of Control (LoC), ongoing counter-terror operations, and internal law and order measures.

Sources added that the Home Minister will assess the coordination among security agencies and the preparedness of forces to ensure peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
