DC Baramulla Lays Foundation Stone of Transit Accommodation at Dak Bungalow

Baramulla, January 22 (KM) : Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today laid the foundation stone of a Transit Accommodation facility at Dak Bungalow, Baramulla, with an estimated allotted cost of ₹135.85 lakh.

The project is aimed at strengthening accommodation infrastructure for visiting officers and officials, thereby enhancing administrative efficiency and facilitating smooth conduct of official activities in the district. The Deputy Commissioner informed that the project has a stipulated completion period of one year.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC emphasized the importance of timely execution and maintaining high-quality construction standards. He directed the executing agency to adhere strictly to technical specifications and ensure judicious utilization of funds. The Deputy Commissioner also instructed concerned officers to closely monitor the progress of work so that the project is completed within the prescribed timeframe.

Chief Planning Officer Baramulla Nissar Ahmad, Engineers from R&B and others officials from the concerned departments were present on the occasion.(KM)
