Jammu, Feb 28 : Hailing the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team’s maiden Ranji Trophy triumph as the Union Territory’s “finest hour,” Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said the historic victory has sparked emotional celebrations and immortalised the players in the annals of the region’s sporting history.

In a post on X, LG Sinha as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) expressed profound pride in the team’s achievement, stating that emotions were “surging beyond words” as the side lifted the prestigious trophy.

Congratulating the players for their unwavering grit and determination, the LG remarked that the squad had inscribed their names in history through sheer resilience and hard work.
