New Delhi, Mar 29 : President Droupadi Murmu has invited Member of Parliament from Baramulla, Engineer Rashid, for a breakfast meeting at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre.
Speaking to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) chief spokesperson Inam Un Nabi termed the invitation a “significant acknowledgment” of the mandate received by the parliamentarian from north Kashmir.
“The invitation reflects the importance of inclusive democratic engagement and recognition of elected representatives,” Nabi said.
He added that MP Rashid has consistently raised public issues and voiced the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre, he added. (KNS)
