Srinagar, June 24 : Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari urged the administration to ensure adequate arrangements for the smooth observance of the upcoming holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram.

In a statement issued to KNS, Altaf Bukhari said, “With the sacred month of Muharram-ul-Haram approaching, I urge the administration to take all necessary measures to facilitate its smooth and dignified observance. The administration must ensure the availability of essential supplies, medical facilities, and an uninterrupted supply of potable water and electricity throughout this revered month, particularly in Shia-majority areas across Jammu and Kashmir.

Apni Party president called upon the relevant departments to remain active throughout the holy month to ensure that people receive all the necessary facilities for the smooth observance of this revered period. He also stressed the importance of ensuring proper cleanliness and sanitation measures in and around Imambaras and other significant religious sites.(KNS)
