CBI, ACB Srinagar Issues Helpline, Warns Against Bribery in Govt Offices

SRINAGAR, 01 Feb: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) in Srinagar warned on Sunday that both taking and giving bribes are punishable crimes.

In a public notice, the agency—as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS)—stated that any government employee found demanding illegal gratification in exchange for official work will face strict legal action.

The agency advised citizens not to succumb to corrupt practices and to immediately report any such demands to the CBI-ACB helpline.

Complaints can be lodged at: 9419900977, the CBI, ACB Srinagar further added. (KNS)
