Government committed to electrify all remote habitations: CM Omar Abdullah

Jammu, Feb 1 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has convened meetings of the Legislature Party and the Joint Legislature Party on February 2 at his official residence in Jammu, Chief Whip Mubarik Gul said.

In a communication issued to legislators, Gul said the Legislature Party meeting will be held at 4 pm in the Banquet Hall at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wazarat Road. The meeting will be presided over by Omar Abdullah in his capacity as Leader of the Legislative Party

He further informed that a Joint Legislature Party meeting will be held later the same day at 5 pm at the same venue. The Joint Legislature Party meeting has been convened by the Chief Minister to discuss important legislative matters.

“All honourable members are requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the meetings at the appointed date, time and venue, keeping in view the importance of the discussions,” Gul said.(KNS)
