Govt to Announce Roadmap for Regularising Daily-Rated, Casual Workers: Omar Abdullah

Jammu, Jan 20 : The Jammu and Kashmir government has scheduled department-wise pre-Budget discussions to be chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah from January 20 to January 22, according to an official notice issued by the Finance Department.

The meetings will be held at the Conference Hall on the second floor of the Civil Secretariat in Jammu, the notice said. Ministers in charge, the Chief Secretary, the adviser to the Chief Minister and administrative secretaries have been asked to attend the discussions as per the notified schedule.

As per the schedule, departments including Power Development, Housing and Urban Development, Finance, Revenue, General Administration, Law, Tourism and Information will participate on January 20.

On January 21, discussions will be held with departments such as Social Welfare, School Education, Higher Education, Health and Medical Education, Public Works (R&B), Mining, Industries and Commerce, and Labour and Employment.

On January 22, departments including Forest, Jal Shakti, Transport, Youth Services and Sports, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Information Technology, Agriculture Production and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj will take part.

The notice said ministers and administrative secretaries stationed in Srinagar will attend the meetings through virtual mode from the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.(KNS).
