Kupwara, Oct 15 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said that those involved in terror attacks will not be spared and assured full support to the families affected by terrorism in Kupwara.

During his visit to the Government Degree College Kupwara to meet terror-affected families, the LG said that the administration is treating their rehabilitation and justice as a top priority.

“The culprits will not be spared. Justice must be delivered at the earliest,” Sinha said while speaking to reporters.

He said the government has already met several affected families and heard their concerns.

Sinha said the administration has taken key decisions to help families who lost their breadwinners. “If a victim’s family wants to rebuild their life on their own land, we will support them financially and help in the implementation,” he said as per KNS.

He added that the government has also tied up with social organisations to make sure families without houses are not left behind.

Calling the situation “painful,” the LG said many families in Kupwara and Srinagar have shared their stories, and the administration is committed to responding with action rather than promises.

On tourism concerns raised by local reporters, Sinha said several tourist spots in Kupwara district have already been opened after security reviews.
“Some places were still closed after the terror incidents, but they will be reopened soon. I will speak to the district administration,” he said.

The LG said the focus remains on support, rehabilitation, and accountability in all terror-related cases.(KNS)
