Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS) : With reference to the recent fire incident that occurred last week in the densely populated area of Chattabal, Srinagar—where nearly seven residential houses and household belongings were reduced to ashes—Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil Srinagar has extended relief assistance to the affected families.

While deep grief and sympathy had already been conveyed at the time of the incident, Dar-ul-Khair, on behalf of its Patron, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, reiterated its solidarity with the distressed families and emphasized the importance of timely support and rehabilitation, especially during the ongoing winter.

Today, a delegation of Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil, led by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon, visited the affected area and distributed essential relief materials among eight impacted families to help ease their immediate difficulties.

Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil reaffirmed that since its establishment, the organization has consistently worked—through the generous financial and material support of well-wishers—to assist victims of natural and man-made calamities without any discrimination of religion or community.

The organization once again appealed to philanthropists and well-off members of society to continue extending their cooperation and support so that relief and rehabilitation efforts for affected families may continue effectively. (KNS)
