Srinagar, May 14: Farooq Abdullah on Thursday said dialogue between India and Pakistan was the only way to resolve issues and expressed hope that both sides would respond positively to efforts aimed at peace.
Talking to KNS, Abdullah said the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference remained united and could not be weakened by conspiracies.
“Talks with Pakistan are the only way to resolve issues. I hope both the Central Government and Pakistan respond positively,” he said.
The former chief minister said attempts to create divisions within the National Conference would not succeed and asserted that the party stood united.
Abdullah has repeatedly advocated engagement and dialogue between India and Pakistan, saying peaceful relations are necessary for stability and development in the region.(KNS)
