Srinagar, Jan 18: The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) on Sunday invited bids for the co-ownership of Srinagar Ke Veer, the franchise owned by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, offering investors and corporates an opportunity to partner with the growing T-10 cricket league.

Srinagar Ke Veer reached the semi-finals in Season 1 and finished as runners-up in Season 2, highlighting its competitiveness and expanding fan base.

The league is guided by a Core Committee including Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Shelar, Minal Amol Kale and Suraj Samat, and features celebrity co-owners such as Amitabh Bachchan (Majhi Mumbai), Salman Khan (Delhi Superheros), Ajay Devgn (Ahmedabad Lions), Sourav Ganguly, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan (Tiigers of Kolkata), Hrithik Roshan (Bengaluru Strikers), Suriya (Chennai Singams) and Ram Charan (Falcon Risers Hyderabad).

“ISPL has evolved into a scalable sports property with strong fundamentals, growing viewership, expanding participation and a professionally governed structure. Co-ownership of Srinagar Ke Veer offers partners the ability to participate in franchise value creation,” Suraj Samat, Core Committee Member and League Commissioner, ISPL, said.

Bids for co-ownership close on January 31. Interested parties can submit applications at https://itb.ispl-t10.com or contact +91 98339 49414.

Launched in 2024, ISPL is India’s first tennis-ball T-10 cricket tournament. Season 2 recorded a television reach of over 28 million viewers, a 47% increase from the previous season, alongside 47.4 million digital video views. Season 3 has over 4.4 million player registrations across 101 cities and is currently underway from January 9 to February 6 at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.

The league is broadcast live on the Star Sports Network and digitally on JioHotstar. ISPL aims to build a structured national competitive framework, with franchise partners contributing to regional talent development and ecosystem growth.(KNS).
