Srinagar, Mar 20 : In a major push to showcase the region’s tourism potential, the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department is set to organize the Kashmir Travel Mart (KTM) next month.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced on Friday that the two-day event will be held on April 14 and 15. The mart aims to bring together approximately 250 stakeholders from over 20 states across the country.

“The event will highlight the region’s immense tourism potential through craft safaris, curated destination tours, and B2B engagements, offering stakeholders a rich and immersive experience of Kashmir’s culture, heritage, and warm hospitality,” office of the chief minister Omar Abdullah posted on X as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).

Describing it as a significant initiative, the office of Chief Minister said the travel mart is aimed at strengthening tourism linkages and further positioning Kashmir as a premier global travel destination. (KNS)
