Organized in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, the Kashmir Super League aims to revolutionize the football landscape of the Union Territory by bridging grassroots talent with professional structures, corporate investment, and organized league play.

The inaugural event witnessed enthusiastic participation from key stakeholders including Rajeev Sharma, Member JK Sports Council; Anisa Nabi, Chief Sports Officer; franchise representatives from all six corporate teams, top-tier sponsors, and some of the most passionate sports enthusiasts from across the Valley.

Lauding the initiative, Nuzhat Gul said, “Kashmir Super League is not just a tournament; it’s a transformative movement for football in J&K. By bringing together corporates, youth, and sport on one stage, we are creating a sustainable ecosystem that will inspire a new generation of talent and ambition. This is the future of football in the region, bold, organized, and filled with opportunity.”

The player bidding ceremony marks a significant milestone in the KSL journey, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead where homegrown talent will be matched with professionally managed teams, a first for the region’s football landscape.
