Speaker constitutes J&K Assembly Ethics Committee

Srinagar, May 13 : Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather has constituted the Ethics Committee of the House for a period ending March 31, 2027, according to an official notification.

As per the notification issued by the J&K Legislative Assembly Secretariat on May 12, MLA Nizam-ud-Din Bhat has been nominated as chairman of the committee.

The members of the committee include Mohi-ud-Din Mir, Salman Sagar, Zafar Ali Khatana, Peerzada Feroze Ahmad, Hilal Akbar Lone, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Satish Kumar Sharma, Surinder Kumar, Randir Singh and Arvind Gupta.

The notification said the committee has been constituted under Clause 1 of Appendix-I to the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the J&K Legislative Assembly.(KNS)
