Baramulla, Nov 05 :Baramulla Police have detained a stunt biker within 24 hours after a video of him performing dangerous stunts on a motorcycle surfaced on social media.

The individual has been identified as Shahid Assad Dar, a resident of Puthar Kreeri.

Police said the biker was found indulging in reckless riding that posed a serious risk to his own life and to public safety. He has been booked under Sections 184 and 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act, and the motorcycle used in the stunt has been seized.

The action was carried out by Police Station Gulmarg under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg and SHO PS Gulmarg, as part of Baramulla Police’s ongoing campaign to curb traffic violations and promote safe driving practices.

Police have once again urged the youth to refrain from stunt biking on public roads and to prioritize safety while commuting.(KNS)
