London, July 24 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a rousing reception from the Indian community in London during his ongoing two-day visit to the United Kingdom.

In a post on X, PM Modi expressed gratitude, saying, “Touched by the warm welcome from the Indian community in the UK. Their affection and passion towards India’s progress is truly heartening.”

Hundreds of diaspora members gathered to greet the Prime Minister, calling the moment emotional and unforgettable.

Gehna Gautam, one of the attendees, said, “Meeting PM Modi was surreal. I even shook his hand.The energy here is unbelievable.”

Sanjay, another community member, said, “We are proud of his work and wish him and Bharat the best.”

Several others, including Bhavya, Shivani, and Shreya Pareek, described the meeting as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, expressing admiration for PM Modi’s leadership and recent initiatives, including Operation Sindoor.

PM Modi arrived in London on Wednesday as part of a two-nation tour. India and the UK are expected to advance discussions on a Free Trade Agreement during his visit.(KNS)
