‘We will never forget their families’: J-K DGP Prabhat on Nowgam Police Station blast victims

Srinagar, Nov 17 : Jammu and Kashmir DGP Nalin Prabhat and IGP Kashmir on Monday visited the Gazaliabad HMT Srinagar residence of Senior Grade Constable Ajaz Ahmad Mir, who was among the nine personnel killed in the Nowgam Police Station blast.

The officers met the family members of the deceased constable and conveyed condolences on behalf of the Police Department.

Speaking to the media during the visit, DGP Prabhat said the police will continue to stand with the families of the personnel who lost their lives in the incident. “We will never forget them,” he said, adding that assistance will be provided to all affected families.

He, as per KNS, said he had conveyed a message of patience to the families of the personnel who died in the blast. “The police will never forget these families, and we will continue to help them,” he said.

The DGP reiterated that support measures are being coordinated for all families of the nine personnel killed in the explosion.(KNS)
