The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a packed international home season for the Indian men’s team in 2026–27, featuring 22 matches across 17 venues.
The schedule includes five Tests, nine One Day Internationals (ODIs) and eight T20 Internationals (T20Is), offering fans across the country an extensive season of top-level cricket. Cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and Ranchi will host two matches each, making them key centres in the upcoming season.
The home season will begin on September 27 with the white-ball series against the West Indies cricket team. The tour includes five ODIs and three T20Is and will run until October 17. The ODI matches will be played in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and New Chandigarh, while the T20Is will be hosted in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
India will then face the Sri Lanka national cricket team in a white-ball series from December 13 to 27. The ODI matches are scheduled in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, while the T20Is will take place in Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune.
In January 2027, the Zimbabwe national cricket team will tour India for a three-match ODI series. The matches will be held in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The highlight of the season will be a five-match Test series against the Australia national cricket team, starting January 21 and concluding in early March. The Tests are scheduled to be played in Nagpur, Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad.
With matches spread across the country, the season promises to bring international cricket closer to fans in multiple regions, while also setting the stage for high-profile contests, especially the much-anticipated Test series against Australia.
