Srinagar, Apr 25 : Aspire Heritage School on Saturday organised a “Run for Fun” cross-country event for its primary students to promote physical fitness and overall development.

The run was flagged off at 6 am by school director Dr Sheema Shah from the Nishat Garden primary parking area and concluded at Eco Park near Shalimar Ghat, officials said.

Students ran along the Foreshore Road route with enthusiasm, they said.

The event was supported by school staff, while medical assistance, including first aid and ambulance services, was provided during the run, the officials added.

School management appreciated the staff for smooth coordination and said the initiative helped inculcate fitness awareness and team spirit among students.

They said the event reflected the institution’s focus on holistic development and student well-being beyond academics.(KNS)
