Srinagar, Oct 18 : Member of Parliament, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, has assured the Open Merit Association that no decision regarding the Budgam by-election will be taken without full transparency and consultation with stakeholders.

During a meeting with the students’ delegation, Mehdi insisted that the Reservation Sub-Committee Report must be made public and shared with all stakeholders by tomorrow.

He said that this step is essential before any political or electoral decision is considered.

He further assured the delegation that all channels of communication will remain open with the students’ representatives. Mehdi reiterated that their concerns will be acknowledged and addressed through continuous dialogue.

MP also stated that any future decision on the Budgam by-election will strictly depend on the contents of the reservation report. He reaffirmed his commitment to fairness and accountability, assuring the students of his unwavering support in their pursuit of justice.(KNS)
