Kulgam, July 8 : National Conference (NC) President Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday addressed party workers at Rest House Chawalgam, where he urged them to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the gathering, Dr. Abdullah said that party workers are the backbone of the NC and their efforts on the ground are crucial for the party’s future. “You must stay connected with the people and make the party stronger from the grassroots,” he said.

He also criticized the central government over recent developments in Bihar, alleging that an unusually high number of voters have been added to the voter list.“The way the central government has manipulated the voter list in Bihar is unconstitutional and unacceptable,” he said.

Dr. Abdullah further said that the people of India have started to recognize the “real face” of the BJP. “Because the public is seeing through their agenda, they are resorting to unconstitutional means just to hold on to power,” he added.

Senior NC leaders including Sakina Itoo, Nasir Aslam Wani, and several party workers were also present at the event.(KNS)
