SRINAGAR, JAN 28 ; Flight operations at the Srinagar International Airport resumed on Wednesday, a day after all schedules were cancelled due to fresh snowfall in the valley, officials said.
Airport authorities said the runway was cleared of snow and operations were given a “green signal” Wednesday morning.
“Flight operations to and fro Srinagar International Airport have resumed. The runway was properly cleared this morning and clearance was given for flights to operate,” a senior airport official told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).
The official advised passengers whose flights were cancelled on Tuesday to contact their respective airlines for updated schedules and re-booking.
All flights were grounded on Tuesday as heavy snowfall swept across Kashmir, leading to the cancellation of all air traffic. (KNS)
