Srinagar, Oct 6 : The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the attachment of M. Bashir Ahmad Shah, In-charge Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla, pending an inquiry into unspecified matters.

As per Government Order, Shah has been attached to the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) with immediate effect.

The order, issued by Ram Niwas Sharma (IAS), Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, further states that the Chief Education Officer Bandipora will hold the additional charge of CEO Baramulla as well as Principal, DIET Sopore, until further orders.

The move is part of administrative arrangements put in place to ensure continuity of work during the course of the inquiry. (KNS)
