New Delhi, August 1 : J&K BJP President Sat Sharma met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Friday to discuss key developments in Jammu and Kashmir and organizational matters related to the region.

During the meeting, Sharma congratulated the Home Minister on the success of Operation Mahadev, which led to the elimination of terrorists involved in the recent Pahalgam attack. He called it a major step under the larger Operation Sindoor aimed at restoring peace in the Union Territory.

Sharma also praised Amit Shah for his strong leadership in combating terrorism and strengthening governance at the grassroots level. He extended an invitation to the Home Minister to visit Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
