Srinagar, Nov 27: Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Sogami, on Thursday said that the National Conference (NC) Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting is currently underway and that the party will announce its final decisions after the conclusion of the two-day deliberations.

Speaking to reporters, Sogami said the session holds significance for the party and that members are engaged in detailed discussions.

“This is a two-day working committee session. All discussions are going on right now. We have many members, and around 19–20 have spoken today. Tomorrow will also go entirely into discussions,” he said.

He added that resolutions will be drafted only after the completion of the session. “Once the decisions are finalized, a press release will be issued. It has always been like this — after the session concludes, all details are shared,” Sogami said.

Responding to a query regarding whether NC MP Aga Syed Ruhullah had been invited to the meeting, Sogami said, “No, he was not invited.”
The concluding session of the CWC is scheduled for Friday, after which the party is expected to release its formal resolutions. (KNS)
