Recommit To Teachings Of Equality, Compassion : LG Sinha On Guru Jayanti

Srinagar, Feb 01 : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday extended greetings on Guru Ravidas Jayanti, highlighting the saint’s teachings of compassion, equality and social reform.

In his message, Sinha as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) said Guru Ravidas Ji “exemplified compassion, unity, equality and human dignity” and devoted his life to the service of humanity.

The Lieutenant Governor called for a recommitment to these enduring values to build “a more caring and inclusive society,” an official release said.

The message is seen as part of the ongoing efforts to promote social harmony in the Union Territory.( KNS)
